Renew Registration – Add Insurance Data or Change Your Plate

This option offers a quick, convenient way to renew a vehicle or vessel registration online even if you need to submit your insurance information and will also allow you to choose a different plate.  The following motor vehicle services are offered:

• One or two-year registration renewals for motor vehicles and vessels.
• Submit required insurance information.
• Purchase a different plate.

Customers using this option will receive their registration in the mail within 7-10 business days from the transaction.

For vehicle renewals, credit/debit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal payments are assessed a $2.95 service fee per item with a $8.85 maximum. There is a $1.50 service fee for bank accounts (e-checks).

Your fee will be calculated when you confirm your tender choice by proceeding to the next page. The service fees are charged per transaction by a third party vendor. Flagler does not retain any portion of this fee.

Renew Registration with Changes to Address

FLHSMV offers a quick, convenient way to renew a vehicle or vessel registration online at MyDMV Portal. This also provides the option to change your mailing or residential address. The following motor vehicle services are offered through MyDMV Portal:

• One or two-year registration renewals for motor vehicles and vessels.
• Obtain a duplicate registration if the customers registration is lost.

Customers using MyDMV Portal will receive their registration in the mail within 7-10 business days from the transaction. Customers can receive an emailed confirmation receipt that can be used until the registration arrives in the mail. On the payment confirmation page customers must select ‘yes’, enter an email address, and click ‘Send Email Confirmation’ for the information to be emailed.

Payment options: Credit card. A $2.00 processing fee is assessed to the total transaction.
